Enough Said . . .

And your point is...?

A chill map of the U.S. with the title "Enough Said..."

Hmmmm. Enough said about what?  That it's winter?  That it's cold? That global warming is off because Matt Drudge and Fox news says so? Have I divined your ever so subtle and coy meaning?

Actually, there's much more to be said. here, here, here, here and here. Maybe on your plane trip to Australia you will be able to spot the massive, Manhattan sized iceberg that is drifting off the coast, or calm the residents of New South Wales who've had the worst flooding in 60 years as a result of forrest fires that wreaked havoc around the country.

Weather is about current conditions. Global Warming is about trends. Scientists assure us that if the thermohaline cycle breaks down, Americans and British will be chipping ice from their teeth for a long time to come. Surprise: It is still a result of rising temperatures and Co2 emissions, i.e.: global warming. But while you and I are freezing our keisters off, others will be dying of thirst and starvation in famines world wide.

Enjoy your plane trip.

...trends, the GW scientists assure us, they can't seem to get right.

Good job though beating that dead hor.. I mean, delivering those talking poin... I mean, good job, or something.

Interesting… I might try some of this on my blog, too. It’s quite interesting how you sometimes stop being innovative and just go for an accepted solution without actually trying to improve it… you make a couple of good points

Gil, I hope you will take the time to read some of the material that Dean has linked to. There is some extremely good information there. I don't know what your own sources are, but I think it might be time to seriously question their reliability.
