Cards of a certain ascertainable sort . . .

Thanks to last week's post by Diogenes:

The catalogue just arrived from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They're selling some beautiful Christmas cards, featuring different great artists' portrayals of the Madonna and Child.

Wait! Did I say "Christmas" cards? I beg your pardon. They are of course "holiday" cards. We wouldn't want to risk offending anyone who is celebrating some other late-December holiday by sending out cards that picture the Madonna and Child.
