I smell an apple pie baking . . .

Ed Morrissey at Hot Air has a video of the "pro-life ad" of Tim Tebow and his mother Pam.

Morrissey has this to say:
Just remember that this was the commercial that infuriated feminists . . . The ad, which created a firestorm of controversy, shockingly depicts a mother proud of her son, who “almost didn’t make it into this world,” and even more horrifyingly notes that “I love him.” Next thing you know, Super Bowl ads will talk about apple pie, hot dogs, and the American flag. It’s a slippery slope, I tell you . . .
The ad links to the "The Tebow Story" on the Focus on the Family website.

I am not too surprised that this ad infuriated feminists. Pam Tebow was extraordinarily lucky. She had a placental abruption, which kills many thousands of women and fetuses each year in the U.S. alone. If the mother dies, the fetus dies, and any existing children lose their mother. If her abruption had taken a different turn, she and her son might be just another perinatal abortion statistic, and you would know nothing of her story. For women who chose not to abort, the complications include internal bleeding, hemorrhagic shock, kidney damage, embolisms, and heart failure.
